Moose Creek Trails 
December 2008 Ice Storm:
This ice strom caused 1000's of people to loose power for up to a week and caused many people to be in the dark for Christmas. The storm took its toll on Moose Creek Trails knocking down many trees and branches on the trail. In the spring when all the snow and ice melted, the trails looked like a baron wasteland until they were cleaned up and restored. Pictures and websites of the event can viewed on this page.
